About the event
When working with sensitive horses, especially those trained for sport, horsemen are looking for ways to keep those horses sensitive but focused at the same time. The goal of Qi-Questrian is to help teach riders of all kinds how to better manage their energy, and learn softer means of communication through riding practices. Our hope is that riders walk away with a better understanding of timing, feel and more self-confidence in their abilities. Madison uses her experience in french classical dressage, her horsemanship background as well as her martial arts training to teach riders the following:
1. Basics of Proper Classical Foundations - going back to the beginning.
2. Relaxation and Balance
3. Grounding and Centering
4. The Forward Horse - staying out of our horse's way
This clinic will be split into two days, starting at 10am each day. Riders will come prepared for ground work exercises, followed by mounted work in two 45 minute sessions each day (total of 4 rides). Any discipline and experience level is welcome. This clinic is also designed to help riders who are experiencing behavioral problems with their horses, please feel free to reach out to Madison to discuss any issues you hope to resolve.
Spaces are limited. Early bird pricing ends April 1st.
