Track Opening Day

Although winter has us in it's clutches, training for the horse archery season has just begun! 

Since our weather has been fishy, we are keeping a window open for exact timing, but our prospective date will be MAR 2nd.  Timing will be locked down by Feb 22nd at the latest. We are building out a competition grade track and training grounds for mounted archers to hone their skills for fun or for competition. Please feel free to bring a friend or two but please keep dogs at home. 

JOIN US FOR THE KICKOFF OF OUR NEW TRACK! Help us put the finishing touches on the track before we take horses to the dirt for some test runs! We will also have ground archery practice and training sessions available. Bring a horse, barrow a horse, or just show up for a darn good time. 

• Gather at Anna's Farm starting at 11am to get a run down of track building and etiquette.
• After that, we will practice ground archery and cover some techniques. All levels welcome.
• We plan on grillin' lunch!
• A brief mounted training seminar take place around 1pm.
• And then the shenanigans begin with a mock competition! (psst. There might be a prize for the winner...)

If you have equipment of your own, feel free to bring it with. We have plenty of bows and arrows to share. No experience necessary! This can be a great way to check out what mounted archery is all about. 

Tickets are $45 per person and include lunch, parking and a brain full of information. If you plan to bring a horse for the training seminar or borrow one of mine, please add $20 for insurance/training fees (yes, this is a significant discount because I JUST WANT TO SEE FACES!). Please let me know if you plan to bring a horse(s) and how large of a trailer you plan to bring. RSVP by FEB 23rd (sign up on my website)

WEATHER: If the weather looks gross, we will reschedule. Most likely snow dates would be March 9th or 16th.
